With a PhD in Geology and post-doctoral research from Potsdam University in Germany, he has made significant contributions to scientific research through numerous international publications and academic leadership roles, including serving as an Associate Professor and Department Chair of Earth Sciences.
After immigrating to Calgary, Canada in 2008, Ahmed transitioned his academic background into a successful career in the oil and gas industry and currently works in the mining sector.

Alongside his professional achievements, Ahmed and his family have established a thriving childcare business dedicated to providing accessible, affordable, and high-quality care for children in their community.
